Riding a horse is an act of respect, a way of preserving history.
The historic Fazenda da Roseta is located in the municipality of Baependi south of Minas Gerais. Inserted in the Mineral Water Circuit, a Brazilian tourist region, the Fazenda is 270 km from the city of Rio de Janeiro and 320 km from São Paulo.
Typically Brazilian, it preserves until the present its rustic, picturesque culture and the traditional way of being.
A place embraced by nature and welcomed by the springs of pure and crystalline waters, native forests and wild animals in abundance.
In the records still alive and brought to memory, the history of the Tropeiros and their trips are made present in the Farm through a pleasant and playful environment. This environment offers beautiful horse riding along with nature.
Today the routes and trails, ideal for riding, have attracted a significant public to the Pouso do Tropeiro.
Composed of 7 (seven) rooms with balcony, where you can enjoy a view of the horses stalls and the mountain. The bathrooms are have solar heating and wood burning. For those who enjoy cooking, attached to the rooms, we have a rural kitchen structure, with wood stove, refrigerator and barbecue grill.
In the kitchen of the house we prepare typical foods from the region. Homemade milk candy in the wood stove and the famous greengrocers, threads, cakes and breads.
In the restaurant, a menu of drinks, snacks, good conversations and a pause to hear the birds on the porch.

- 1st Group: July 03 to 07
- 2nd Group: July 24-28
- Mangalarga Marchador horses, docile and suitable for each type of profile and participant experience.
- All tours are conducted with guides and according to safety standards and protection of the environment.
- Accommodation in Pouso do Tropeiro in double room with double bed or two single beds, private external bathroom for each family or group of friends.
- Full board with typical brasilian food: breakfast, lunch and dinner.
- Check in on Monday and check out on Friday (after lunch).
- Accident insurance (horseback riding, nature tourism and adventures) for all participants.
- Launching promotion: R$ 890,00 (seven hundred and ninety Reais) per person with 40% in the reservation and the remainder in two installments on the credit card at the entrance (see options for extra beds and quadruple rooms).
- Activities Offered:
- The lesson on security procedures at the ranch.
- Theoretical and practical classes on riding and proper treatment of the horses.
- The four (4) progressive horseback riding in order to increase the degree of difficulty as the participant acquires experience and physical conditioning.
- Trolley ride.
- The City tour with a visit to the Mangalarga Marchador museum in Cruzilia – Minas Gerais.
- The Atlantic Forest Walk with Photographic Safari for nature observation (plants, springs, birds and mammals, among others).
- Brasilian musical presentation.
- Certificate of participation.
